Values
Crimson Hound is a woman-owned business. I acknowledge the many ways in which I am privileged and benefit from inequitable societal infrastructures, both current and past. As such, I am committed to learning about the complex social issues which impact people from backgrounds and experiences that differ from my own. I prioritize impact over intent. To this end, I do my best to apply what I have learned to make Crimson Hound as equitable and inclusive as possible.
Crimson Hound welcomes, includes and values ALL voices. These voices will continue to include those from different races, ethnicities, sexual orientation, gender, abilities, faiths, nationality, age, and socioeconomic status. Further, I will not tolerate ableist, ageist, homophobic, racist, sexist, or transphobic voices.
Financial Aid
For behavior consults and training services, I offer payment plans with 0% interest. There is no required documentation to verify eligibility. If you need financial aid, please contact me. I will do my best to support you.
Accessibility
I work to make my services and resources available in a variety of ways that accommodate a wide spectrum of physical and neurological abilities. In the event that support is not possible within my business structure, I make every effort to provide alternative resources that individuals can utilize on their end.
If you need assistance using my website or would like to share anything that will help me prepare for our training session (e.g. mobility differences, disabilities, accommodation requests, etc.) please call or text me at 608-799-0260 or email training@crimsonhound.com.

Inclusivity
Crimson Hound believes that rewards-based training, with a certified professional, should be available to all regardless of race, ethnicity sexual orientation, gender, ability, disability, faith, nationality, age, and socioeconomic status.
Land Acknowledgment
I recognize that I am on the unceded territory of the Ho-Chunk nation and pay respects to their elders past and present. I also acknowledge the truth of violence perpetuated in the name of this country. Please take a moment to consider the many legacies of displacement, migration, and settlement that bring us together here today. Crimson Hound makes this acknowledgement as a step towards dismantling the legacy of settler colonialism and with a commitment to social justice.
Supporting Shelters & Rescues
As I have noted, part of my mission to help shelter and rescue dogs find forever homes. In order to do so, I offer free behavior assessments to rescues and shelters. I provide free and discounted behavior consultations and training sessions to fosters who are caring for shelter and rescue dogs and puppies.
In addition, I am a participating trainer for Human Alliance for Rescue Trainers (HART). HART supports shelters and rescues across the country by providing training support.
Growth, Education and Fear Free Mindset
I am committed to growth mindset and staying current with the most up-to-date, scientifically valid training methods and techniques. Crimson Hound follows Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive Effective (LIMA) training methods. Above all, my goal is to train dogs with the least amount of force, pain, fear and intimidation possible. As a Fear Free Certified Professional, I strive to provide fear and stress free training sessions.
